Basic Bowl Dressing [gluten-free, paleo, vegan]


After lots of thinking, I cannot come up with a more important and essential recipe to be sharing with all of you other than my Basic Bowl Dressing! I use this dressing on practically everything I make – from salads (pictured here!) to rainbow bowls to tossing it with quinoa or drizzling it over grilled fish. It adds so much flavor to whatever it is paired with. I love it so much to go as far as saying that I can’t remember the last day that I went without using it!

My Basic Bowl Dressing is seriously the easiest thing to make – it takes less than 5 minutes! All you need is a small bowl and fork or a mason jar and five simple ingredients. I personally like making the dressing fresh each time I plan to use it but feel free to make a large batch to have at your fingertips whenever you want to use it!

This dressing is both paleo, vegan, but most importantly, so. DANG. delicious. I am yet to meet a person who turns their nose to this versatile, tasty dressing. I am so excited for all of you to try it out this dressing and get you hooked!


  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 tb Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • Pink salt + fresh cracked pepper to taste


  1. In a small bowl*, vigorously whisk together all of the ingredients until all of the ingredients are incorporated.
  2. Serve over your favorite salad, rainbow bowl, grains, or proteins!

* Alternately, you can combine all ingredients in a mason jar and shake vigorously.
